2. Overview

PulseGuard AI is a Slack app that monitors operational data across your business and surfaces hidden risks directly in Slack. We only process the data that is strictly necessary to operate the service. No data is collected for advertising purposes, no tracking tools are used, and no data is sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

3. What Data We Collect

  • Slack workspace and team identifiers
  • Slack user IDs and display names of installing and interacting users
  • OAuth access tokens issued by Slack during installation
  • Channel identifiers where PulseGuard is invited to post
  • Operational data you connect for monitoring (e.g. support tickets, vendor records, reviews, bookings)
  • Slash command inputs and interaction events

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To detect operational risks and generate alerts in Slack
  • To perform AI root cause analysis and produce recommendations
  • To generate forecasts, reports, and executive summaries
  • To respond to slash commands and interactive actions
  • To operate, secure, and maintain the service

5. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance): Processing of workspace, account, and operational data to provide the monitoring service.
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests): Securing and improving the service and preventing abuse.

6. Data Processors & Sub-processors

We use the following providers to operate PulseGuard AI:

  • Slack Technologies — messaging platform and app integration
  • OpenAI — AI analysis, recommendations, and summaries
  • Vercel — hosting and serverless infrastructure

These providers process data on our behalf as processors. Data submitted to OpenAI via its API is not used to train its models. See openai.com/enterprise-privacy and slack.com/trust/privacy/privacy-policy.

7. Data Sharing

Personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Data is only shared with the sub-processors listed above to operate the service, or where we are legally obligated to do so. A full, current list of sub-processors is available on our Sub-processors page.
